Heart Federation, and is to take up office in February next year.
The World Heart Federation is an organization composed of
180 member societies of cardiology and heart foundations from 100 countries and
continental members covering the regions of Asia-Pacific, Europe, the
Americas and Africa.
Professor Hassell, Senior Cardiologist, is Founding
President of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Barbados, and is currently
Director of Medical Services of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is Immediate
Past President of the InterAmerican Heart Federation."
