As this is the last edition of Heartline for 2006 I would
like to take this opportunity to wish all our readers, sponsors, advertisers and
clients an enjoyable Holiday Season from all of us at the Heart & Stroke
Foundation of Barbados.
We do hope that 2007 will be a successful year for you and
that CWC 2007 will live up to expectations. In particular we at the Foundation
want to ensure that one of the legacies is a healthier lifestyle for all of us
in Barbados.
We have recently completed our Strategic Plan 2006/9 - and
one of the four main objectives is:
"To significantly raise the level of “WELLNESS”, defined as,
lifestyle influence and health promotion, of persons resident in Barbados by
placing it on both the national and personal agendas."
