Come cruise with us
Each year the Heart & Stroke Foundation
arranges an overseas trip for those clients of the CDP&R
programme, as well as members and friends, who wish to
participate. This year between April 28th and May 1st a group of
25 persons had a marvellous tour of Trinidad, staying at the
Marriott Court Yard.
For next year a truly exceptional outing is
planned - the first of an annual Mind/Body Cruise, this time to
be held aboard the Carnival Valor from May 13 - 20 2007.
The giant Carnival Valor is one of the newer
additions of the Carnival Cruise Lines fleet. Aboard, the theme
is “Heroes and heroics”, an appropriate ambience for persons who
have undertaken the challenge to attain, promote and maintain a
healthy cardiovascular system.
Ports of call are Miami, Grand Cayman
Islands, Roatan Island, Honduras, Belize, and Costa Maya,
Mexico.
Specially discounted rates have been
negotiated with Foster & Ince for those persons booking through
the Heart & Stroke Foundation, and a portion of the payment will
be contributed towards the Foundation.
