Patrons are in for a treat at Ocean Park on Sunday August
19th, 2007. The occasion is a fundraising event that will be held on behalf of
the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Barbados.
Included will be Ocean Park's well-known sumptuous lunchtime
buffet, a concert and a mini-health fair, which will include blood pressure
testing and CPR demonstrations. The concert will feature a performance by the
Senlac Bells, a hand bell ringing group from the UK. Also appearing will be the
Suzuki violinists from Barbados, who are all young.
Patrons will be able to enjoy the unique experience of the
Senlac Bells, a popular cultural phenomenon across the UK. They will also have
the opportunity to take in the marine aquarium at Ocean Park, situated in Balls
Complex, Christ Church, as well as the children's play area, gift shop, Pirate
Adventure mini golf, and several other attractions.
Following the success of the elegant evening of dinner and
dancing on Valentine's Day on February 14th at Ocean Park, The Heart & Stroke
Foundation of Barbados is looking forward to joining with an equally large
gathering of guests at the fundraising day of entertainment at Ocean Park on
August 19th.
